Summary

PMS 325 is a multi-faceted and complex Program Office for Support Ships, Boats, and Craft under the Program Executive Officer, Ships. This Program was established because of the high dollar value, critical schedule, technical complexity, varied nature of commercial acquisition programs, and overall importance of the National Defense and management problems anticipated in program execution.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain concise, accurate financial deliverable data, including current hourly position (burdened rate) for the overall contract.
  • Shall maintain a computer based action item tracking system to track all technical work done.
  • Forecast program workload and make corresponding adjustments in support staffing.
  • Perform analyses to determine strategies for business and technical decisions.
  • Produce program-phasing plans, program schedules, and plans of action and milestones.
  • Support production through ship, craft, and boat module integration, compartment testing.

                                                                                                                          

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years of experience with DoD acquisition processes, in DoD/Navy program
management, Industry or Government business management relevant experience.

  • Five (5) years supervisory experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience with ACAT I and II programs, including Earned Value
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
  • US Government Secret Security Clearance required
