Summary

This position will support the U.S. Army's PdM Radars Program Office located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005.  This support includes, but is not limited to, programmatic, technical, engineering, testing, logistics, training, integration, business management, administrative and operational program support.  

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides configuration and data management services.  
  • Develops, implements, maintains, and manages a configuration management / data management system for storage and retrieval of Radar information, including such things as OEM contractual deliverables, software baselines, hardware drawings, program documentation, briefings, memos, and individual system configuration information.  
  • Ensures configuration items are identified, accounted for, reported and verified.  
  • Coordinates and participates in any change management activity that will impact configuration items.
  • Facilitates and works with all relevant teams involved in configuration management changes to meet the objective of having accurate and up-to-date configuration management items.  
  • Performs checks and audits of configuration items in the configuration management / data management system to ensure data quality.  
  • Proposes and implements configuration management / data management process improvement actions.  
  • Reviews and ensures that all procedure and process documentation for configuration management is relevant and effective.                                                                                                     

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering Preferred)
  • 5 years of Maintenance Engineer experience for similar Government Program Offices.
    • 4 additional years related experience can be substituted for a Bachelors Degree.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
  • US Government Secret Security Clearance required
