Responsibilities

The Facilities Space Planner will be part of a team that’s goal is to maintain and plan all future facilities and infrastructure changes and improvements. These efforts will include collaboration of long-range planning, transfers of space analysis, space utilization, and asset-movement development planning. Working with a team of management, environmental, safety, health, security, and financial personnel, the Planner will be forecasting future space needs, developing space standards, and policies. Utilizing a well-tempered approach to customer service is crucial, as this role interacts with many individuals. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in facilities design and move planning
  • 1+ years’ experience site planning administration and execution
  • Active/Interim DoD Secret Clearance
  • High School diploma or GED

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7 years’ experience in facilities design and move planning
  • 3 years’ experience site planning administration and execution
  • American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
  • Ability to work as a team member yet also individually

 

Additional Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Active/Interim or Renewable DoD Secret Clearance
