Responsibilities

The HR Records Management Clerk will provide support to the Human Resources team. This individual will be responsible for using alpha/numeric filing knowledge and experience with office equipment such as copiers, scanners and personnel computers in order to maintain the filing systems. The records management programs support will include eOPF record, file management processes and the overall review and maintenance of HR files. This individual will possess an in-depth knowledge of human resource personnel file organization, management and disposition/retention policies; ideally in a Federal environment. This individual will be working with HR personnel, and business units so they must have the ability to communicate effectively.  

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years’ experience HR Records Management/Filing
  • Active/Interim or Renewable DoD Secret Clearance
  • High School Diploma or GED

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ HR Records Management/Filing
  • 1+ years’ experience Federal Human Resources support
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
  • Ability to work as a team member yet also individually

 

Additional Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Active/Interim or Renewable DoD Secret Clearance
