    Responsibilities

    The HR Assistant will provide support of the Human Resources team. This individual will be responsible for performing human resources assistance where they will use their substantial knowledge of HR terminology, operations, functions, and regulatory requirements, as well as policy and procedural requirements applicable to HR transactions. This individual will use their experience in office administration, word processing graphics systems, spreadsheet applications and developing graphic/artistic presentations for publications and documents as required. This individual will be working with HR personnel and business units so they must have the ability to communicate effectively. 

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications

    • 2+ years’ experience office administrative assistance
    • 5+ years’ Word processing/Spreadsheet/Presentation programs (eg. Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
    • Active/Interim or Renewable DoD Secret Clearance
    • High School Diploma or GED

     

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 5+ years’ HR Assistant experience
    • 1+ years’ experience Federal Human Resources support
    • Active Secret Clearance
    • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
    • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
    • Ability to work as a team member yet also individually

     

    Additional Requirements:

    • U.S. Citizenship Required
    • Active/Interim or Renewable DoD Secret Clearance
