    Provide administrative, videography and scheduling support for the Public Affairs office. Perform hands-on photography, videography, and create electronic graphics to put a story/concept together. Film and edit material, conduct interviews, and write scripts to educate and inform key audiences. Support Public Affairs office events and activities including pre-planning and day-of support. Field and respond to incoming calls, route mail, prepare outgoing correspondence, prepare travel and agendas, reserve conference room and event space, and record meeting minutes. Act as a liaison between the Public Affairs office and other departments and the public by devising effective information products for community outreach and relations.


    • HS Diploma/GED, or Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or Journalism (preferred)
    • 3 Years’ experience in journalism, communications, and/or videography
    • Videography and editing experience
    • Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, and Microsoft Office Suite experience
    • Self-motivated to manage multiple projects simultaneously with varying timelines/deadlines
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to be flexible and adapt to change
    • Works well under pressure
    • Clear and effective oral/written communication
    • Must be willing to travel locally to support event needs

    Additional Requirements:

    • U.S. Citizenship Required
    • Active/Interim or Renewable DoD Secret Clearance
