Responsibilities

Responsibilities: 

  • Primary task is providing advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets. 
  • Measure organizational performance, assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget.
  • Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives. 
  • May employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests, assess program tradeoffs, and explore alternative funding methods.
  • Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization’s spending.

Qualifications

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting 
  • 10 years of experience as a financial analyst gathering and analyzing facts and figures, and presenting the information or conclusions in clear oral and written language.
  • ACTIVE Security Clearance REQUIRED (No Exceptions!)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience such as performing financial analysis and evaluation work requiring a comprehensive knowledge of (1) corporate finance and any specialized fields of finance required such as public finance, securities, international finance, money and securities markets, investments, and banking, and (2) the financial and management structure, operations, and practices of corporate and other organizations.
