Responsibilities

  • .Strategy and planning
  • Maintain CVN 78 Class risk strategy and Risk Management Plan.
  • Maintain and update a Carrier Program Office Risk Management Plan
  • Risk Management Training
  • Develop training materials for risk mitigation
  • Provide periodic training for Program Office and associated staff
  • Risk Database Management –
  • Provide liaison with the Risk Exchange Risk Management database developer/maintainer
  • Monitor database software problems and proposed changes
  • Facilitate CVN 78 Program Office on the Risk Exchange Configuration Control Board
  • Risk identification
  • Monitor PARMs (IWS, C4 I & NAVAIR etc.) Engineering (SEA 05V) and LDY (NGSB) Risk programs, review issues and make recommendations to the Risk Manager.
  • Support development, prepare and maintain CVN 78 Class programmatic risks.
  • Coordinate with IPTs and Risk Projects across CVN 78 Class to assure risks are identified
  • Perform assessments of selected program areas to identify risks.
  • Risk Board Facilitation
  • Prepare agenda, facilitate and prepare minutes for monthly CVN 78 Class NAVSEA Risk Project Board meetings
  • Prepare agenda, facilitate and prepare minutes for monthly CVN 78 Class Program Risk Board meetings
  • Opportunities Database Management
  • Maintain CVN 78 opportunities management plan for PMS 378D
  • Track and status CVN 78 savings opportunities in opportunities database
  • Management Information and reporting
  • Prepare risk input for management documents and reports
  • Provide Program Manager’s CVN 78 Class DAES Risk Chart monthly
  • Provide critical real time administrative support of the CVN 78 Class program in the areas of risk.  Ensure meeting schedules, meeting minutes, event planning and program coordination is up to date and accurately maintained. 

Maintain and ensure timelines and schedule are current.  Ensure reported critical path plans and dates support PMS378 and PMS 379 planned milestone dates.  Assist in developing briefs, related pre-briefs and point papers.

Qualifications

BS with 5 years of related experience or 10 years of related experience.

Strong MS Office skills 

Advanced Powerpoint and Infographics skills

Demonstrate the ability to analyze data
