    Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will have a successful track record pursuing, positioning and capturing new business within the DoD marketplace. This position requires working within a team environment and being able to articulate action plans with other business development staff, subject matter experts, contracts, finance and HR personnel and executives. Ability to develop and present capture briefs to potential customers and corporate executives. Strong verbal and written skills are needed to develop proposal content and communicate ideas and strategies. Ability to travel is necessary.

    • Develop, manage, and execute capture plans and strategies for identified pursuits during all phases, from early opportunity and development through proposal submission.
    • Integrate resources and capabilities across the company.
    • Gather, assess, and validate customer requirements, and identify related needs and constraints that impact winning  solutions.

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS required
    • MS/MBA desired
    • Minimum of 8 years of DoD experience
    • Minimum of 5 years of capture and business development experience, Navy preferred
    • Experience with NAVSEA and/or SeaPort-e desired
