    Career Opportunity

    We currently seeking candidates for our Human Resource Business Partner position, located at our corporate office in Washington, DC. This position serves as an internal partner with managers and employees to align human resource services with business objectives fostering an employee-oriented, high performance culture. The Human Resource Business Partner anticipates and assesses human resources related needs and seeks to implement solutions. This position formulates partnerships across the company to deliver valued service to both the management staff and employees alike.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provides human resources consultation and support to designated business units.
    • Acts as a liaison between T-Solutions Corporate office and employees.
    • Plans and administers New Employee Orientation to foster a positive attitude toward company goals
    • Provides guidance to management with personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations
    • Reviews and processes paperwork relating to hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations for entry into the payroll system
    • Updates information in HRIS based systems.
    • Provides additional support to Recruiters include posting updated job descriptions, benefits information, employment resources.
    • Provides knowledge and assistance with employee benefit programs and assists in coordinating our annual open enrollment.
    • Responsible for maintaining employee files.
    • Advises employees and distributes information regarding benefits, compensation, and procedures.
    • Works closely with the Vice President and advises management in the appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
    • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
    • Assists managers with employee performance management and terminations; prepares employee separation notices and related documentation.
    • Reads and abides by the company’s code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook, policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs.
    • Reports and investigates any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company.
    • Obtains clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources available.
    • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance
    • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

     

    This position includes a low level of travel.

     

    Education and Experience

    A high school diploma or GED equivalent, a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 5 years of relative experience in human resources and a minimum 3 years of experience in government contracting.

     

    Qualifications

    • Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
    • Must have reliable transportation to and from various work locations.
    • Must be highly organized in planning and time management with the ability to multi task.
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
    • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
    • Must be a US Citizen.

     

    Certificates, Licenses, Registration

    • PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
