    Career Opportunity

    We are currently seeking candidates for a Security Specialist position supporting a Government client in Moorestown, NJ. The Security Specialist will provide security risk management guidance to the client.

    Responsibilities

    • Provides security risk management guidance pertaining to the protection of advanced technology
    • Makes access eligibility determinations in accordance with Navy SAP Nomination Process
    • Reviews documentation required for classified information systems in accordance with the current regulations.
    • Conduct site surveys and physical security accreditations
    • Interpret current security policies and implements organization security policies and procedures.
    • Leads Investigations of security incidents to include initial reporting and documenting findings in accordance with policy
    • Reviews and applies governing policy including Executive Orders, DOD Security Directives, the SAP Nomination Process, Intelligence Directives and the JAFAN Series
    • Communicates orally and in writing to managers, civilians and military contracts across DoD and other agencies

     

    Education and Experience

    • Ph.D. or equivalent higher-education degree
    • Must possess at least 7 years professional security experience
    • A high school diploma or GED equivalent and at least 7 years professional experience in security is acceptable in lieu of college degree
    • Minimum 15 years' experience in Security Operation's to include Personnel Security, Physical Security, Information Security, Industrial Security and Operational Security

    Qualifications

    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
    • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) or other Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) certification
    • Must possess experience in the fields of physical, industrial, information and personnel security planning SAP Security Compliance Inspections and Self-Inspections
    • Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to report findings both orally and in writing to the client
