    Career Opportunity

    We are currently seeking candidates for a Program Analyst position, located in San Diego, CA. The Port Engineer Support Services contract provides support to the U.S. Navy Surface fleet by achieving material readiness within constrained funding levels.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Validate and submit security clearance forms to Security Managers for completion.
    • Educate and support employees with the tools to complete expense reports with accuracy and thoroughness.
    • Create a variety of documents including but not inclusive naval correspondence, directives, status reports, trip reports, meeting minutes, briefing slides, and file setup and maintenance.
    • Enter the Availability Start and End date in VSB with coordination from the Port Engineer.
    • Provide assistance to the Port Engineer’s on closing old availabilities in VSB.
    • Generate and provide the Port Engineers with their CSMP reports.
    • Coordinate and schedule the employee’s participation via the Port Engineer Evolutions Opportunity Calendar.
    • Generate and retrieve metrics data using various software programs. Provide metrics to the proper gov’t and/or Port Engineer authorities.
    • Maintain, review and provide weekly CASREP listing received from MIDPAC, PACNW and SURFPAC and update VSB.
    • Generate and analyze various reports to support Port Engineers and their respective ship assignments.
    • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and be able to communicate effectively both orally and through formal reports.
    • Demonstrate experience in management and coordination with Port Engineer’s and Government officials.
    • Attend and coordinate scheduling calendars with the Port Engineer’s.

    Required Qualifications

    • Prior Navy 3MC experience preferred
    • Knowledge of U.S. Navy 3M System and ability to run reports and calculate standard system reliability metrics.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Project, Visio, and Adobe Software.
    • Three (3) years of experience in developing and maintaining documentation and data management systems involving DoD programs.
    • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
    • Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
    • Secret Security Clearance

    Travel required for this position will be ~ 5%.


    Security Requirements

    • Applicant will be subject to a security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain a security clearance issued by the US Government.
